Michael Berrington, an FRS Director, used his 10 years of Chartered Accountancy experience (largely at PricewaterhouseCoopers) to re-engineer the financial reporting process. He then collaborated with Sanjay Dhiru, a fellow FRS Director, who has extensive database and software programming experience (principally from Oracle). From this collaboration they developed software and incorporated this into a complete financial reporting system that can import data from any general ledger system.

This financial reporting system is part of the FRS Process, which also includes the cash flow calculator and client disclosure documents that fully integrate with each other. This creates an extremely efficient process where information is seamlessly compiled, integrity checked and Annual and Interim Financial Reports, lead schedules, audit trails and cash flow workings are produced.
